No question about it, Petit Jean knows how to do bacon the right way. We use only the leanest cuts, which gives you a lot more meat out of the frying pan. While others use liquid smoke, we put our bacon in the smokehouse, giving it a treatment similar to our hams. One other thing: you won’t find any paper thin bacon in a Petit Jean package! We cut our bacon thick, the way it ought to be. Try our bacon once and you won’t want to go back!

I enjoyed PJ bacon for years while I i lived in Arkansas. I moved to Texas and it was delivered by FedEx. The FedEx trucks must not be refrigerated because i ordered 12 packages and the ice packs were melted when i received it, Bacon was slightly cool, so it was put in the freezer. I haven’t cooked any and hope it is still good.

We loved Petit Jean bacon while while we were in Arkansas and to be able to order it since we moved to Illinois is wonderful. It was not available several times and thankfully we were able to get some finally!!
